Over the years, our team has created print and marketing elements for over 400 restaurant, entertainment & hospitality locations worldwide.

When we were asked to work with local Houston entrepreneurs to help brand their latest venture- Slowpokes, we jumped at the opportunity.

Project Ask

Slowpokes Second Location in Houston, Texas

Slowpoke’s founders gave our team the creative freedom to play with various explorations of the Slowpokes brand.

This coffee establishment would feature a laid back atmosphere, serving up local coffee roasters, baked goods and seasonal wines.

Through initial discussions with the owners and mapping all project requirements, We began to work on sketches, color schemes, and multiple logo iterations to help bring the Slowpokes vision to life.

Our Role

Illustrations by Caroline Vos. Commissioned by Slowpokes.

Slowpokes had a vision for their concept, and it would be centered around three characters, Tasker Alexander the Slug, Patches the Sloth, and Mash the turtle.

These characters are Slowpokes personified and are featured throughout each of their Houston locations.

Slowpokes provided us their vision and illustrations, along with their characters respective stories and we began building their Style Guide and Brand.

In our time working with Slowpokes, we created the branding guide, color palettes, design concepts and logo, helping to bring this storytelling concept to it’s first breath.

Our team continued to assist the Slowpokes design needs for their newly developed Coffee shops in consultant work for design advice needs, paper goods and much more.
